In 2004, Ghislain d’Alançon, a payments specialist, met Antoine Vaccaro, a philanthropy specialist. They started from a simple observation: cash is disappearing, and the ways of collecting donations have not kept up.
HeoH was founded in 2012 to answer that. In 2018, HeoH created its own subsidiary, HeoH Payments, licensed by the ACPR. In 2022, HeoH won the tender of the French Bishops’ Conference to digitalise the offering in Catholic places of worship.
HeoH Payments is a payment institution licensed by the ACPR under number 11568. Every beneficiary charity is reviewed by HeoH’s ethics committee, then signs a collection agreement.
The terminals are certified by the GIE Carte Bancaire and comply with PCI-DSS standards and the PSD2 directive. All flows are processed exclusively by French banks. HeoH is listed by the French Treasury and its solutions work with Chorus Pro.
